What We Do:
Planned Communities, Inc. has developed over 10,000 prime residential lots in more than 35 developments, and has developed over a million square feet of first class retail, commercial, and medical spaces all over Central Ohio.

Recent Projects:
Olentangy Crossings - A development located at U.S. 23 and Lewis Center Road.  This development includes over 350 residential units, the largest Kroger Marketplace in Central Ohio, inline retail space, outparcels, and the 30,000 square foot Ohio State University Care Point in Lewis Center.  The Ohio State University Care Point was negotiated, built to suit, and now holds a long term lease with the university on the Medical Center.
 Menards - Project focus of Menards store featuring 220,000 square feet of space on a 71 acre site located on the east side of U.S.23 and Home Road.

Olentangy Falls - a 212 acre, 132 lot residential development on the south side of Hyatts Road, just east of S.R. 315 abutting the Olentangy River.
American Electric Power - Retained to oversee the construcition fo the Green Meadows Drive extension on the east side of U.S. 23, just south of Menards.
North Orange - Situated on the west side of U.S. 23, south of Home Road and north of Orange Road is a 390 acre residential and commercial development which includes the Orange Township Fire Department, Orange Park, the Delaware County Library, a large assisted living facility, and various other commercial uses.
The Lakes Golf and Country Club - Planned Communities owns and operates the country club and golf course.  Planned Communities master-planned and developed over 1,200 acres which includes over 2,400 residential units.
Northwoods Office Complex - Situated on the west side of U.S. 23 north of Flint Road.  Planned Communities zoned, built and managed 128,000 square feet of office space.  We continue to own space and handle property management duties, and this is the location of our company offices.

Planned Communities, Inc. was founded in 1961 as a Real Estate Development company and has been located in the Greater Columbus area since its founding.

Planned Communities, Inc. has the experience to manage every aspect of each development.  This includes aquistion of land, zoning, street and utility development and installation, site selection for schools, parks and lot development.  The two main objectives in all projects are to develop at the highest quality level while preserving the natural settings of the sites as much as possible, including trees, other landscape features, and waterways.
Planned Communities, Inc. has developed a unique and trusted working relationship with the various jurisdictions in the area.  This includes zoning boards, political leaders, utility companies, as well as a range of local citizen groups.  We offer a working knowledge of where utilities are likely to be extended as well as how zoining boards are likely to view various kinds of development.
